Nissan resumes showroom operations nationwide, starting August 20



Following the latest government directives on the National Recovery Plan (NRP), which allowed several more industries to reopen during the movement control order (MCO), Edaran Tan Chong Motor has announced that a majority of Nissan showrooms nationwide will resume operation, starting tomorrow (August 20).

However, all showrooms, including branches and dealers in Kedah, Malacca, and Johor will remain closed for the time being. Several outlets in Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, and Terengganu will also only be reopened on August 23. The full schedule can be found in the table below:

All showrooms will adhere to strict standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of its employees and customers. Only fully-vaccinated employees are allowed to resume work, and will be wearing face masks at all time.

Additionally, they will also undergo frequent body temperature checks, and all frequent touch points in the showroom, including test drive vehicles will be disinfected regularly.

Customers are advised to comply with the SOPs when entering the premise; only those fully-vaccinated (with proof of digital certificate on MySejahtera app), with body temperature below 37.5 degrees celcius will be allowed into the premises. Face masks are also required at all times, and other SOPs set by the government also remains active.
