These images of the McLaren Elva and 765LT are so wallpaper worthy!

At the end of 2020, McLaren showcased its Elva and 765LT at a private “McLaren Masterpieces” event at the Bluewaters Island in Dubai.

Enthusiasts of the British supercar brand got to immerse themselves with McLaren’s latest models, against Dubai’s signature ultra-urban backdrop and the images from this combo are so wallpaper-worthy.

“We are delighted to present the Elva and 765LT here in the UAE. Both models are expected to be delivered in the first half of 2021,” said McLaren Europe, Middle East and Africa, Managing Director, Brett Soso.

The Elva is McLaren’s latest Ultimate Series supercar with a bespoke carbon fibre chassis and body; making it the lightest road car ever from McLaren Automotive.

It’s powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with 815 hp and 800 Nm. 0 to 100 km/h takes less than three seconds, while 0 to 200 km/h is done in under seven seconds. After all the back-and-forth on production numbers, McLaren concluded that only 149 units of the open-cockpit supercar will be built.

As for the 765LT which was launched in Malaysia recently, it makes 765 hp and 800 Nm, also from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. As it weighs more or less the same as the 718 Cayman GT4 we tested in Sepang recently, 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.8 seconds!
