In conjunction with the upcoming double 12 online shopping sales event, Honda Malaysia has announced the ‘All-New City 12.12 Special Sales’ campaign, offering cash rebates worth RM2,000 for the all-new Honda City 1.5S and 1.5E variants.
The offer will be eligible to customers who place a booking for one of the two aforementioned variants between 1st and 12th December, and subsequently register their vehicles from before the 31st of December 2020.
Together with the ongoing sales tax exemptions until the 31st of December 2020, the entry-level Honda City 1.5S is priced at RM71,851.27, while the 1.5E variant is priced at RM79,664.82.
The Honda City has garnered significant approval from Malaysians, with more than 9,000 units already received since its launch in October this year, despite the challenging economic climate post Covid-19.
Both the 1.5S and 1.5E variants of the Honda City are powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine, which makes 121 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT gearbox.
Features wise, the Honda City E is significantly more well-equipped, with the addition of the new eight-inch infotainment display on the dashboard, which now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a reverse camera. Other additional features on the E variant include automatic climate control, paddle shifters, and a basic cruise control system.
Otherwise, both variants are equipped with halogen projector headlights, 15-inch alloy wheels (with variant-exclusive designs), fabric upholstery, analogue instrument cluster, rear air-con vents, and four airbags as standard.
