TC Subaru resumes operation at selected service centres

TC Subaru, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, announced today that it has received approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to resume operations at selected service centres in the country during the extended Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

The selected service centres will resume partial operation starting from today, to carry out service maintenance, minor repairs, and vehicle breakdown services on an appointment-only basis.

According to the statement, the list of service centres include the company’s own service centres in Petaling Jaya and Cheras, Selangor; Bukit Mertajam and Georgetown, Penang, as well as service centres managed by its authorised dealers across the nation. In an effort to look after the health and wellbeing of its customers, The company says that safety measures have been put in place at all Subaru service centres to adhere to social distancing and hygiene guidelines.

These measures include regular sanitisation of work areas, temperature screening and use of surgical masks for all staff, while hand sanitisers and disinfectant sprays will be placed and used throughout the entire premise.

In view of the extended MCO period, TC Subaru will be extending all warranties expiring during the MCO period by 60 days or 1,000 km, whichever comes first. For emergency or urgent matters during the MCO, customers can contact the Subaru Careline at 1-800-22-9898 or 012-536-0080.

Recently, TC Subaru has also introduced its online booking portal for its Forester and XV models. Customers will be able to secure a booking of either models in the comfort of their own homes with a booking fee of RM188.
