Volkswagen expands Welcome Back campaign with exclusive benefits for front-liners

As a gesture of appreciation for the front-liners who are working tirelessly in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is now extending its ‘Welcome Back’ Campaign to include additional benefits exclusive to the frontline workers, who are also Volkswagen car owners.

The additional benefits include priority booking, a complimentary car sanitisation, as well as a 10% discount off the total bill. These benefits are rolled into the existing Welcome Back campaign, which means other existing benefits will still apply based on eligibility.

Welcome Back Campaign benefits for frontliners

To receive the benefits, Volkswagen owners who are frontline workers will have to indicate their respective occupational areas when registering through the online form. Upon submission, a VPCM representative will be in contact for verification purposes.

The professions included in the campaign are government hospitals doctors, nurses and administrators, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers, Malaysian Armed Forces (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia), RELA (People’s Volunteer Corps) and Malaysia Civil Defense (Angkatan Pertahanan Awam).

Volkswagen Welcome Back Service Campaign

Once approved, the additional benefits will be added to their Volkswagen Cares App wallet, ready to be redeemed at their pre-booked service appointment. The appointment must be made within 30 days after the Movement Control Order is lifted.

Other Volkswagen owners are also entitled to a free gift when they register during the campaign period. For owners not redeeming the free maintenance voucher, and are not Volkswagen Care Plus members, they will also receive a RM50 engine oil voucher.
