Mercedes-Benz Malaysia isn’t the first car brand to announce the automatic extension of a vehicle’s warranty if the expiration falls over the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, and probably won’t be the last.
So, if you own a Mercedes-Benz with a warranty period ending between 18th March to 14th April 2020 or have a regular maintenance service to adhere to over the same time frame, you can still claim warranty or get that maintenance service performed within four weeks after the MCO is lifted.
The current MCO is scheduled to end on 14th April, but that is subject to the latest directive by the government. Till then, please stay home and help #FlattenTheCurve.
