Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced two new editions of the GLA200 and GLA250 4matic, dubbed the Nightfall Edition. Both are available as locally-assembled (CKD) models, with prices starting from RM258,888 and RM295,888, on-the-road, without insurance, respectively.
The new GLA Nightfall Edition builds upon the AMG Line exterior with a sports brake system and lowered comfort suspension. Both variants are further enhanced by the Night Package, which introduces high-gloss black design elements extending from the radiator grille to the wheels.

This replaces traditional chrome accents with blacked-out trim, including 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels on the GLA200 and 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels on the GLA250 4matic. The latter also comes with Multibeam LED and Adaptive LED headlights. This lighting system includes intelligent light modes, active light function, ultra-range high beam, and high beam assistant.
The interior matches the dark exterior aesthetic with an AMG Line cabin featuring a black fabric roof liner and a multifunction sports steering wheel upholstered in Nappa leather. Upholstery consists of Artico man-made leather and Microcut microfibre in black with grey contrasting topstitching. This is paired with sports seats, grey seat belts, and light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim.

Other interior features of the GLA Nightfall Edition include dual 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment and digital gauge cluster, thermotronic automatic climate control, and the parking package with a 360-degree camera and active parking assist.
Under the bonnet, the Mercedes-Benz GLA200 is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 163 hp and 270 Nm. This is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), enabling 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.
The GLA250 4matic features a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 224 hp and 350 Nm to the marque’s 4matic all-wheel drive (AWD) setup. This is assisted by a 48V mild-hybrid system with an electric motor providing an additional 14 hp (10 kW) and 150 Nm of boost. This setup enables a 0–100 km/h sprint time of 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h.
