Shell Malaysia Trading today launched its new low-viscosity fully-synthetic engine oil, Shell Helix Eco 0W-20.
The company says that the new engine oil is specifically developed to cater to compact cars with engine capacity below 1,200 cc, where the engines are also constantly subjected to high-stress situations due to start-stop driving conditions in the city.
The new fully-synthetic engine oil promises better fuel economy, along with better protection for engine parts against wear and friction. The new Shell Helix Eco engine oil also features a low evaporation formula that can help keep the engine always lubricated and thus, protected.
Shell Lubricants Marketing General Manager, May Tan said, “Car owners will now be able to enjoy savings from lower maintenance costs as it is a premium fully synthetic engine oil that is able to cleanse your engine as well as provide optimal engine protection until your next oil change.”
Shell Helix Eco 0W-20 will be available in 3.5-litre packs, with a recommended retail price of RM143.50 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM144.20 in Sabah and Sarawak. It is now available at all authorised Shell Helix workshops nationwide.
In conjunction with the launch of the new lubricant, every pack of the ‘Untuk Pasaran Malaysia’ Shell Helix Eco 0W-20 will also come with a free sunshade, while stocks last.
Customers who purchase via authorised Shell Helix workshops are also entitled to participate in the Shell Advantage and Rewards (SHARE) programme.
SHARE members are entitled to one free pack of Shell Helix engine oil for every four packs purchased through authorised dealers.
