Video: 2020 Mazda CX-30 Skyactiv, 5 Things

If you live the Instagram lifestyle and looks are your thing, then Mazda might have something up your alley. Bermaz Motor has recently launched the Mazda CX-30 on our shores. The trendy crossover will be available in three variants, starting at RM143,059.

Don’t be fooled by its looks though, because the CX-30 is definitely not just a pretty face. Here are five things you need to know about the all-new Mazda CX-30:

The Mazda CX-30 will be offered with two different engine options. The 2.0G and 2.0G High variants come with a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G four-cylinder petrol engine, with a power output of 162 hp and 213 Nm of torque.

The diesel variant is powered by a 1.8-litre SkyActiv-D turbodiesel mill, pushing out 114 hp and 270 Nm of twist. Both engines are paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox, with power sent to the front wheels.

Aside from the exterior and interior styling, perhaps the biggest difference between the CX-3 and CX-30 is its size. Based on the Mazda 3, the CX-30 gains an additional 80 litres of storage space from the CX-3, alongside a slightly roomier interior.
