Proton officiates new 3S Centre in Tawau, Sabah



Proton has just expanded its dealership and services network in the East Malaysia region, with the official opening of a new 3S (sales, services, and spare parts) Centre in Tawau.

The outlet is operated by Fook Loi Corporation, who has three other Proton 3S centre under its belt in Kota Kinabalu, Lahad Datu and Sandakan. All of the outlets were opened in the span of less than 15 months. 

Carrying Proton’s latest corporate image, the Tawau 3S Centre houses a total of 10 servicing bays with four service hoists, and can accommodate up to five cars in its showroom. 

Other amenities include a kids’ corner, coffee bar, laptop charging ports, as well as free WiFi connectivity. 

To date, Proton has a total of 120 3S and 4S certified outlets across the country, making Proton the brand with the largest number of 3S and 4S outlets nationwide.

Recently, Proton has announced that the national carmaker exceeded 100,000 units sold in 2019, which equates to over 56% growth over the previous year.

The new Proton 3S Centre in Tawau is located at 1.5km, Japan Apas, Tawau, Sabah. The Showroom is open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm from Mondays to Fridays, and 8.30 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. Operating hours for the service centre are 8 am to 5 pm from Mondays to Friday, and 8 am to 4 pm on Saturdays.
