In conjunction with the double 12 online shopping carnival, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will be joining in the celebration with an Instagram-exclusive sale.
In what the company calls a first-of-its-kind sales, 12 units of the Volkswagen Polo and 12 units of the Beetle will be sold through Volkswagen Malaysia’s Instagram page at a special discount of RM12,000. The former will come with the JOIN accessories package, while the latter comes with a free spoiler and VW Tint.
To enjoy the deals, customers will need to place a booking fee of RM500 for the Polo or RM1,000 for the Beetle through the payment platform via credit card. Once processed, a Volkswagen representative will contact you for arrangements to complete the purchase at your preferred dealership.
VPCM Managing Director, Erik Winter believes that purchasing a car online is now the norm due to the rise of e-commerce platforms. “Volkswagen Malaysia were pioneers in this when we partnered with Lazada to sell the special edition Beetle and Polo during their 12.12 sale the past two years.
“Both editions sold out almost immediately, and this year, we continue our trailblazing streak as the very first automotive brand in the country to sell products on Instagram,” he added.
The offer will be available for 24 hours, starting from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm this coming 12th December. More information can be found on Volkswagen Malaysia’s Instagram Shop page.
