The new 2019 Peugeot 3008 SUV has arrived and like before there’ll be two variants available with the Allure Plus as the highest grad model. Prices start from RM150,888 for the standard Active Plus while the Allure goes for RM163,888.
The spec sheet revealed a largely similar car; powered by the 1.6-litre twin-scroll Turbo High Pressure Engine with 167 hp and 240 Nm. The engine is similarly paired to a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. 0 to 100 km/h still take 8.9 seconds with top speed rated at 205 km/h.
The biggest change in the new 3008, specifically available for the Allure Plus includes the addition of the Speed Limit Information, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitor and Driver Attention Alert.
Inside, the updated 3008’s cabin gets a new Black Claudio leather upholstery that’s exclusively for the Allure Plus model, along with LED cabin mood lighting, one-touch folding rear seats, 8-way power adjustable seats with memory function and an auto dimming rear view mirror.
