In efforts to expand its local dealership network, Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has just appointed Pekin Auto Sdn Bhd as its latest dealer representative in Johor Bahru. This brings the total number of dealers nationwide to 13.

The new 3S Centre (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) will be located near Skudai and furnished with Volvo’s latest VRE (Volvo Retail Experience) standards. Although the new centre is not officially launched, it will be a strategic touchpoint for VCM to connect with fans and customers in the Southern region.

VRE with a Swede touch

VCM is committed to implementing the next phase of its transformation plan with a focus on customer experience and dealer network. Managing Director of Volvo Cars, Nalin Jain said: “VRE goes beyond its Scandinavian-inspired aesthetics; it is the manifestation of our brand values and our desire to take care of our customers throughout their whole journey with Volvo Cars.”

The expanding dealer network and support are also reflected in the company’s sales growth in the first half of 2019 of more than 60% – a record figure for VCM. VCM is looking to launch more dealerships in the coming months.
