Mazda CX-30 is coming to Malaysia, but how much are you willing to pay?

Bermaz Motor, the official distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia has just announced at a press conference that the Mazda CX-30 will be coming to Malaysia.

The CX-30, which was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is a new compact crossover that sits between the CX-3 and CX-5. Sharing the same underpinnings of the newly launched Mazda 3, the CX-30 offers more space than the CX-3 and more style than the CX-5.

Rollout to global markets will only commence at the end of 2019 so do not expect the car to be in local showrooms anytime soon. Bermaz Motor did not confirm whether the CX-30 will be locally assembled (CKD) or fully imported like the Mazda 3, the decision is subjected to market demand and availability.

Measuring 4,395 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, 1,540 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,655 mm, Mazda claims that the CX-30 was designed with a user-friendly interior packaging in mind. Promising comfortable seating for four adults on long journeys, a trait that will appeal to families looking for a good looking yet practical SUV.
