4-year old learns how to drive a McLaren 720S! [+Video]

McLaren’s highly acclaimed supercar, the McLaren 720S was made for the thrill seekers who are generally in the older age group. But the British supercar maker wants to extend its Super Series model to a new target audience – 3-to-6-year-olds.

Introducing the McLaren 720S “Ride-On”, an officially licensed children’s electric car that was inspired by the McLaren P1 “Ride-On” offered back in 2016. Available at McLaren retailers and selected global toy stores, the 720S “Ride-On” mirrors the intricate details of the actual car as closely as possible. It even comes in McLaren colours including Azores Orange, Belize Blue, Lantana Purple, Onyx Black, Mauvine Blue, Silica White and Saros Grey!

The 720S “Ride-On” is powered by an electric motor complete with an accelerator and brake pedal, speakers that blasts engine sounds, dashboard display screen and an infotainment screen that can play videos by plugging a USB or SD card.

For the concerned parents who are not confident with their child behind the wheel of a 720S “Ride-On”, there is a remote control that allows the parents to override and take control of the vehicle when needed.

The baby McLaren comes with an attractive price tag too from £315 (RM1,650) and McLaren expects the 720S “Ride-On” to be in high demand.
