Video: 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Sedan First Look

As one of the last few cars introduced by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia under the reign of Mark Raine, VP of Sales and Marketing, the A-Class is by far the most exciting prospect for the company since the launch of the W176 A-Class six year ago.

With a larger boot and more headroom, the new A-Class sedan adds an additional element of practicality to the style and flair that has elevated the brand’s image to new heights in recent times.

Just like the hatchback, there will be two options for the A-Class sedan – A 200 Progressive Line and A 250 AMG Line. Both are fully imported from, priced at RM229,888 and RM267,888 (on-the-road without insurance) respectively.

On the side note, you’d notice that the video completely omitted the details of the 1.33-litre engine built in collaboration with Renault, paired with a Getrag 7-speed DCT, making 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque; that’s entirely my fault, I apologise for my oversight.
