Either the galaxies were aligned or they collided; not only did we get to take two Aston Martins out on track, our instructor was called Eugene too.
The cars on the tasting menu were the V8 Vantage just launched recently in Malaysia, along with the stunning V12 DB11 – each standing out in its own way.
The V8 Vantage is front-mid mounted with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 sourced from Daimler, match-made with a rear-mounted 8-speed ZF transmission. The DB11 on the other hand, gets a violent 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, similarly paired to an 8-speed ZF.
