Only 120 units of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sports Edition will be made for Malaysia and we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the limited edition seven-seater SUV:
Based on the standard 2.0L 4WD Outlander, the Sports Edition features unique styling cues in the form of a dual-tone paint scheme – Red Metallic and Ruby Black Roof, black Dynamic shield front grille, extended roof spoiler, “OUTLANDER” hood emblem and more. Inside, it gains additional DVD rear entertainment screens and red accent floor mats with Sports Edition embroidery.
Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated MIVEC petrol engine that pushes out 145 hp and 196 Nm of torque paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to drive all four wheels. The Mitsubishi Outlander Sports Edition is priced at RM142,888 (OTR without insurance) or RM5,000 more than the standard Outlander 2.0L 4WD.
