Rolls-Royce Phantom’s Privacy Suite is the most private space on the road

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars understand that its influential clients require the highest levels of privacy when making important business deals but now the British carmaker wants to offer another private location for these meetings. In the “Privacy Suite” of the new extended wheelbase Phantom.

Debut at the 2018 Chengdu Motor Show, the Privacy Suite is privacy in every sense of the word. Separating the front and rear passengers is an Electrochromatic Glass that changes opacity from fully see through to opaque with the touch of a button. The separator is complemented with improved sound insulation using a frequency-specific compound that mutes the conversations in the rear cabin to the front.

The only way of communication between the driver and the rear passengers is through an Intercom System that opens a direct line from the rear passenger to the driver at a press of a button whilst the driver can “call” the rear occupants, who can choose to accept or decline the call.

In addition, Rolls-Royce has installed an opening between the separator that is controlled solely by the rear passengers to allow document or objects to be passed between the front and rear cabins. Rear Privacy Curtains and Rear Privacy Glass extends the privacy levels even further.

Other options on the Privacy Suite equipped Phantom includes Bespoke Rear Theatre Entertainment system, Starlight Headliner and a Bespoke Clock in the rear.
