Stamford Tyres, the official distributor of Falken tyres in Malaysia has just officially launched their latest flagship Ultra High Performance (UHP) tyres, the Falken Azenis FK510 here in Malaysia. The new UHP tyres boast superior wet weather performance without sacrificing refinement.
Succeeding the outgoing FK453 in the Azenis line up, the FK510 is catered for the regular drivers and enthusiast alike who seek a UHP tyre with high levels of comfort and refinement. Available for wheels measuring 17 to 22-inch in diameter, Stamford Tyres says the FK510 is suitable for most luxury vehicles and sports cars in Malaysia.
Using 4D Nano Design technology, engineers were able to develop the FK510 with enhanced compounds at the molecular level, giving the tyres improved dry and wet grip, braking performance, comfort and longevity.
Falken has paid great attention to the FK510’s wet weather performance to ensure that drivers will experience the high-levels of safety when driving in the wet. To achieve this, Blade Sipes – small ‘cuts’ – was incorporated to the tyre design which allows the tyres to cut through surface water more efficiently as well as optimise the contact patch for greater stability.
The new tyre pattern was also developed with a new innovation called Adaptive Constant Pressure (ACP) which essentially means the tyre groove ensures a consistent pressure distribution throughout the contact patch. As a result, the FK510 boasts sharper steering response, greater directional stability and improved braking performance.
A total of 86 sizes of the Falken Azenis FK510, covering 17 to 22-inch wheels will be available for purchase at all authorised Falken dealers and distributors nationwide. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the FK510 starts from RM480 to RM2,500.
The FK510 SUV (replaces the FK453 CC) for crossovers and SUVs as well as a run-flat version will go on sale in Malaysia as soon as 2019.
