Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has just introduced a new variant to the Navara model line up, the Nissan Navara VL Plus. Equipped with enhanced safety features and Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM), the Navara VL Plus sits at the top of the model line up.
The Navara VL Plus now comes equipped with seven airbags, Advance Driver-Assist Display with Digital Speedometer as well as a 360-degree Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM) – a NIM technology that provides the driver with a bird’s-eye view of the vehicle for easier navigation through tight spots.
Sales and Marketing Director of ETCM, Christopher Tan said, “Imagine a whole new driving experience, moving through life with more excitement, confidence and connection to the world around you. NIM offers that through Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM), which is available on our three best-selling models: X-Trail, Serena S-Hybrid and now the Navara.”
Mechanically, the new Navara variant retains the same 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission to deliver 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
There is also an optional Black Series package that adds Matte Black Headlamp Eyelid, Matte Black Front Grille, Blackout Front Bumper, Matte Black Fog Lamp Cover, Matte Black Overfender, Matte Black Side Mirror Cover and Black Sport Bar for a more expressive exterior look.
The Nissan Navara 2.5L VL Plus is priced at RM119,869.08 on-the-road without insurance and 0% GST. Opt for the Black Series and you will have to add RM3,773.59 to the selling price. All new purchases of the Navara VL Plus come with 5-Years or 150,000km warranty.
