In celebrating the 70th anniversary of Land Rover, 632 vehicles gathered in what was the largest parade of Land Rovers, setting a new Guinness World Record in the process.

The record-breaking 7.4 km parade in Bavaria, Germany beat the previous record of 516 Land Rovers set in Portugal in 2014.

The fanfare featured a wide range of models including many classic Defender models, accompanied by the newer Land Rover Discovery, Discovery Sport and Freelander models and the complete Range Rover line-up – Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Evoque and Velar.

“It was a fantastic atmosphere on the day and a great pleasure for us to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our brand with more than 1,500 enthusiastic Land Rover fans, friends and families. We thank everyone who helped us to bring this together”, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Germany, Jan-Kas van der Stelt.

Locally, Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia has been busy introducing new models like the Range Rover Velar and the Jaguar F-Pace 2.0L Ingenium Turbo which will be available in three variants – Prestige, R-Sport (Mid-Spec) and R-Sport (High-Spec).
