Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia (JLR) has just introduced a new 2.0-litre Ingenium engine option for the Jaguar F-Pace SUV. The new engine option will be available in three variants – Prestige, R-Sport (Mid-Spec) and R-Sport (High-Spec).
Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium engine, the F-Pace 2.0-litre packs 246 hp and 365 Nm of twist, the latter peaking at 1,200 rpm. Drive is channelled to all four wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The four-cylinder-powered F-Pace goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.

Keen drivers will be glad to know that the F-Pace 2.0L comes with Configurable Dynamics that allows the driver to choose their desired settings for throttle response, gearbox and steering to match their driving style and conditions. The system analyses acceleration, cornering, throttle and brake pedal activity to optimise the suspension settings for maximum driving engagement and comfort.
As standard, the F-Pace 2.0L gets full LED headlamps, mesh grille, lower air curtain, LED taillamps and 20-inch alloy wheels; pretty similar to what you get on the F-Pace 3.0L V6. The range-topping R-Sport (Hi-Spec) adds 360-degree Surround Camera System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue Assist as well as a 12.3-inch LCD Instrument Panel Display.
With a base price of RM425,800 to RM498,800, the F-Pace 2.0L variants are some RM100k to RM160k more affordable (spec for spec) compared to its larger capacity F-Pace 3.0L V6. Naturally, the 1,998cc engine capacity means you’re paying much lower annual road tax too compared to the 2,995cc F-Pace.
All Jaguar F-Pace 2.0L Ingenium will come with Jaguar Care Programme which includes a 5-Years Warranty, 5-Years free service and 3-Years roadside assistance. The new F-Pace is now available for order at all Jaguar showrooms nationwide.
