Proton has announced that the company will pledge RM10 to the Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) government fund for every Proton car purchased from 1 June to 31 December 2018, showing its support towards a worthy cause for the country and the rakyat.
THM is a fund set up by the Pakatan Harapan led government for the public to contribute towards easing the RM1 trillion national debt. As of 1 June 2018, the fund has collected over RM18,608,926.36.
Now that Goods and Services Tax (GST) is officially zero-rated, Proton models have seen a price reduction of RM2.1k to RM12.5k. In addition to that, Proton is also offering Duit Raya cash rebate on selected models for customers who purchase a new Proton car throughout the month of June.
