Haval H9 previewed at Malaysia Autoshow 2018, set for launch by end of 2018


Go Auto Sales Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor for Haval vehicles in Malaysia is currently previewing the new Haval H9 at the Malaysia Autoshow 2018 held in MAEPS, Serdang.

Due to be launched as a fully-imported unit by the end of 2018, the H9 comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection dual VVT engine producing 160 hp and 324 Nm torque.Information as been scarce with Go Auto being extremely tight-lipped, in building the suspense for the all-wheel drive Haval H9; to the extent that we couldn’t even get shots of the interior.

Although, what has been revealed is that the H9 will come with active and passive safety features such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Descent and Ascent Control, ABS, Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Intelligent Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) and a total of 6 airbags.

The seven-seater is expected to cost below RM 200,000 and will come in two variants – Luxury and Ultra – with five colours to choose from including Alaskan White, Ebony, Sleek Silver, Kakadu and Bronze.

CKD units of the Haval H9 on the other hand is expected to be available towards the end of Q2 in 2019.
