Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Edition on sale, limited to 500 units worldwide!

The veils to the most powerful Porsche 911 Turbo S have been lifted, and this one is hand crafted at the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Zuffenhausen. Production is limited to just 500 units, and all customers can have the matching chronograph wristwatch from Porsche Design that’s also limited to 500 units.

This Exclusive Edition comes with the Golden Yellow metallic paint as well as carbon fibre bonnet, roof, side skirts, ram-air scoop and while two strips of carbon fibre vinyls contour the roof and bonnet. Behind, it gets a new rear wing, apron and twin stainless steel exhaust pipes painted in black. Finishing it off is a set of black 20-inch centre-locking wheel with gold detailing. Customers who wish to opt for other colours can do so as well.

Inside, the coupe gets Porsche Sport Seats Plus that’s wrapped in perforated leather, contrasted with golden-yellow stripes to match the exterior theme. The stitches are also of the same golden colour, whereas the roof is lined with Alcantara. There’s also a new plate with the limited-edition number fitted to the passenger side of the cabin, and the carbon fibre door sills feature Exclusive Series lettering.

It’s not all about looks as well, because Porsche tuned the 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine to crank out 27 hp more to a grand total of 599 hp with 750 Nm of torque. On paper, it doesn’t sprint from 0 to 100 km/h any quicker (the standard Turbo S does that in 2.9 seconds!), but the 0 to 200 km/h sprint is completed in 9.6 seconds. That’s 0.3 seconds quicker! Top speed is 330 km/h.

Other standard fitments include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Sport Chrono pack, rear-axle steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) which lets drivers tweak chassis and suspension setting on the fly.

As for the cost, it’s at least RM200k over the standard Turbo S. Expect the premium to go up a fair once it finds its way here.
