It’s going to be an MPV showdown for UMW Toyota, as they have three big models (quite literally as well) to introduce throughout the rest of the year. The order books are now open, with pricing for all three MPVs have been announced as well.
Let’s begin with the Sienta. As reported previously, the Indonesian-sourced compact MPV recently made its Malaysian debut at the 2016 My Auto Fest and will arrive in two trims, at best. The good news is the funky-looking Sienta, powered by the same 1.5-litre DVVT-i powertrain from the Avanza, will get decent levels of safety features. Prices begin from RM92,900.00 to RM99,900.00.
The Vellfire on the other hand, will cost you RM355,000.00 for the 2.5-litre variant. The Alphard, being Toyota’s most premium large MPV, will have two variants on offer. Both powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, the Alphard starts from RM419,900.00 for the standard variant to RM519,900.00 for the Executive Lounge variant. The latter will have luxurious seats just like business class seats from a full fledge airbus, serving as a decent alternative to the usual limos for captains of all industries.
All aforementioned prices are OTR with insurance. Packaged with the purchase is a 5-Year warranty with unlimited mileage.
