To celebrate Polestar Cyan Racing’s win at the FIA World Touring Car Championship in a Volvo S60 Polestar TC1 race car, Polestar has unveiled the Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar Performance World Champion Edition.
Unlike the limited-run MY2018 S60 and V60 Polestar, the Champion Edition can be had in D4, D5, T5 or T6 variants. Should you choose to own one of these celebratory models, your S60/V60 will be dressed in a rear diffuser, ducktail spoiler and 19-inch Polestar lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in ultra-high-performance tyres.
Mechanically, it comes equipped with free-flow stainless-steel exhaust system, sports air filter, uprated suspension dampers and springs as well as Polestar powertrain optimisation. Engine output is bumped by up to 10 hp and 50 Nm of torque (depending on engine choice). Gearshifts and throttle response have been sharpened as well.
The Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar Performance World Champion Editions are available for purchase from any Polestar retailer globally whereas the Polestar Performance Parts can be fitted to new or existing Volvo cars.
