Fourth-gen Renault Megane breaks cover, embraces Renault’s new family styling

Renault has released a few exterior shots of their new C-segment hatch, the Megane, and as you can see here, Renault appears to have another looker in their product range.

Featuring the new design language debuted on the Espace and recently the Talisman, the new Renault Megane sports the brand’s new corporate face, beginning with the C-shaped headlamps and the oversized vertical logo on the nose.2015-Renault-Megane-002

The detailing on the front fenders and the sharp lines along the lower edges of the doors are also present here, while the tweaked dimensions such as the shorter overhang, wider front and rear tracks as well as a longer wheelbase give the Megane a more dynamic stance. Similar to the front, the rear end features the a new LED lighting signature that stretches across the rump.

At the top of the new Megane range sits the Megane GT. The GT will be dressed with unique Renault Sport styling kit, featuring honeycomb grille, bespoke front and rear bumpers and a set of 18-inch Renault Sport aluminium wheels.2015-Renault-Megane-007

Renault is still keeping mum about the new Megane’s complete details, but they will be fully revealed soon at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. Are you liking what you’re seeing yet?
