If you ever get to put a night at The Peninsula hotel in Shanghai, you might just stand a chance to be chauffeured in a brand new BMW i8 should you fancy the sports car more than their Rolls-Royces, other BMWs and MINIs.
BMW Group, having previously ‘handed over’ a BMW i3 to the Kempinski Hotel in Beijing last year, said that this move is part of their strategy to encourage sustainable mobility and is being fully supported by The Peninsula. The luxurious five-star hotel has also installed public charging stations compatible with all electric cars standardised for China.
