While it may look like a stunner on the outside, the inside is just as impressive. It’s the first BYD Group model in Malaysia to get a three-screen setup, with dual 13.2-inch displays for the driver and front passenger, plus a huge 17.3-inch central touchscreen.
And it doesn’t stop there. The rear is surprisingly luxurious too, with power recline, powered rear sunshades, a roof-mounted vanity mirror, and even a wireless fast charger built into the centre armrest. Top it off with a 20-speaker Devialet sound system, and you’ve got a cabin that’s just as enjoyable to listen to as it is to sit in.
Along with its good looks and stunning interior, what lies underneath is even more impressive. The Denza Z9 GT packs a tri-motor setup, with one motor up front and two at the rear, producing a combined 1,156 hp and 1,210 Nm of torque. That’s enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.7 seconds, before topping out at 240 km/h.

Powering it all is a 122.49-kWh LFP Blade battery, giving the Z9 GT a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 600 km. Better yet, it supports BYD’s Megawatt Flash Charging technology, allowing it to charge from 10-70% in just five minutes, or 10-97% in only nine minutes.
But performance isn’t the only trick up its sleeve. The Z9 GT also gets up to 15 degrees of rear-wheel steering, unlocking some seriously cool features. The first is Crab Walk, which lets the car move diagonally to squeeze through tight spaces. Then there’s Pencil Compass Turn. Thanks to its individually controlled rear motors, the Z9 GT can literally pivot itself into and out of parallel parking spaces.
