Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched the new Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe Nightfall Edition. It is available as a locally-assembled (CKD) variant, priced at RM518,888, on-the-road without insurance. For comparison, the Nightfall Edition is RM20,000 more expensive than the standard GLC43 Coupe, which is priced at RM498,888.
For the extra RM20,000, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe Nightfall Edition introduces AMG Exterior Night Package with the AMG Night Package Exterior II, with dark chrome detailing on the slats of the radiator trim, model designation on the fenders and rear, as well as the rear Mercedes-Benz star.


Other special darkened bits on the exterior include the AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome, finished with “AMG” lettering and black accents, to further remind you that you own a special GLC43 Coupe every time you’re at the petrol station. Otherwise, the standard exterior equipment of the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4Matic Coupe Nightfall Edition includes the kit found on the standard GLC43 Coupe, which includes:
- Mercedes-AMG exterior package with AMG Night Package I and AMG Night Package II
- Chrome Package
- Panoramic sliding sunroof
- 21-inch AMG Y-spoke light-alloy wheels

The Nightfall Edition introduces the AMG Real Performance Sound system, offering an intense sound experience. Selectable modes range from sporty-subtle in ‘Balanced’ to sporty-emotional in ‘Powerful’, controlled via a button on the centre infotainment display. Other interior features include:

Under the bonnet, the GLC43 Coupe features a 48V mild hybrid (MHEV) system and a “one man, one engine” 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. This engine is equipped with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger featuring Formula 1-derived technology and is paired with a belt-driven starter-generator (RSG) for an additional boost of 14 hp and 150 Nm, contributing to a total output of 421 hp and 500 Nm.
Paired with the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, its top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. Power is channelled to all four wheels via the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, featuring a rear-biased torque distribution (39% front, 61% rear).
For safety, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe Nightfall Edition in Malaysia comes standard with the Driving Assistant Package, including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-go functionality, lane-centring assist, a blind-spot monitor, and Active Parking Assist with Parktronic.
