Ford Malaysia has launched the new Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 in Malaysia. The new more powerful variant of the Wildtrak is priced from RM192,888 on-the-road in Malaysia, and is RM21,000 more expensive than the existing Ranger Wildtrak available with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel mill, which is priced at RM171,800.
As featured in its name, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 is powered by a 3.0-litre turbodiesel V6 engine, sending 250 hp and 600 Nm to a full-time four-wheel-drive (4WD) system via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared to the 2.0-litre turbodiesel that makes 210 hp and 500 Nm, the V6 is 40 hp and 100 Nm more powerful.
Measuring 5,370 mm long, 1,918 mm wide, 1,884 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,270 long, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 exterior is the same as its 2.0-litre counterpart, with the main difference being a new “V6” emblem on the front fenders, alongside a Wildtrak V6 decal on the front doors.
The length of the truck bed is also the same at 1,564 mm long, 1,584 mm wide, and 540 mm long. Other exterior equipment of the Ranger Wildtrak V6 includes:

For interior amenities, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 is equipped with a 12-inch portrait-oriented infotainment display with Ford’s Sync 4A voice command system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. For the driver, they have access to an 8-inch TFT multi-info display. Other interior equipment for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak V6 includes:

For safety systems, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 is equipped with a suite of ADAS features, which include adaptive cruise control with stop-go functionality, lane change warning, blind spot detection system, rear cross traffic alert, highbeam assist, speed limiter, evasive steer assist, and a 360-degree panoramic surround view camera.
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 is now launched in Malaysia, priced at RM192,800. Included in the price is a five-year or 160,000 km manufacturer’s warranty. Customers can also opt for the optional Extended Warranty Plan (EWP), which adds another two years and 40,000 km of warranty coverage. The Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.0L V6 is available with four exterior colours. They are: Absolute Black, Arctic White, Luxe Yellow, and Meteor Grey.
In conjunction with the launch of the Ranger Wildtrak in Malaysia, early bird customers who purchase the Ranger Wildtrak V6 will receive a complimentary two-year extended service package and a limited-edition cooler bag upon vehicle delivery.
