October 9th, 2025, will mark a historic day for Ferrari as it launches its first-ever fully-electric model. A Ferrari without a roaring engine? Times are certainly changing.

According to Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna, this groundbreaking EV will be among six new models the company plans to launch in 2025.

Details about Ferrari’s first EV remain limited, but Reuters reports that pricing will start at 500,000 euros (approx. RM2.3 million).

Rest assured, Ferrari fans, that the Prancing Horse first EV will still have an “authentic” Ferrari sound, as quoted by Emanuel Carando, Ferrari’s head of product and marketing.

This suggests that the EV may feature a system that produces synthetic engine sounds, similar to the setup found in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Ferrari’s first EV model will be produced at the company’s new e-building, a dedicated facility for manufacturing Ferrari models with various powertrains, including internal combustion engines (ICE), EVs, and hybrids.

The Maranello-based carmaker ended 2024 with 13,752 cars delivered, up 0.7% from 2023. Net profit exceeded €1.5 billion in 2024, a 21.3% increase over 2023.

More recently, Ferrari unveiled the Ferrari F80, the successor to the LaFerrari. The F80 boasts a V6 engine paired with electric motors for a combined output of 1,200 hp and 1,092 Nm, all sent to an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox for a blistering quick 0-100km/h in just 2.15 seconds.
