The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA200 facelift made its launch in Malaysia back in January this year. Being the entry-level SUV in Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s lineup, the facelifted GLA200 can be yours at RM258,888 (OTR, without insurance), and is locally assembled in Pekan, Pahang.
On the outside, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA200 in Malaysia sports new LED headlights and LED taillights, 18-inch five-twin-spoke wheels in Tremolite Grey, along with new “power domes” as seen on the facelifted A-Class. Like the pre-facelifted model, it comes with the Progressive Line kit.
Moving inside the facelifted luxury SUV, changes made here are pretty mild. This includes the new steering wheel with touch-based controls and the three-pointed star pattern on the interior trims. The touch control panel on the centre console is now gone too.
The Malaysian-spec facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLA200 also comes with the twin 10.25-inch display setup. The MBUX infotainment system (NTG 7) that powers the display has been updated and now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other interior equipment included with the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA200 consists of powered seats wrapped in black Artico man-made leather and a 64-colour ambient lighting system. Also included is the single-zone climate control and a wireless charging pad.
Powering the Mercedes-Benz GLA200 facelift is a 1.3-litre turbocharged inline-4 engine that makes 163 hp and 250 Nm. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, power is sent to the front wheels.
Safety equipment on the GLA200 facelift in Malaysia is unchanged from before. Standard features included here consist of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Highbeam Assist (AHA), Parking package with a reverse camera, and the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
