Video: Ford Ranger Raptor, Things You Need To Know



The first-ever Ford Ranger Raptor will be arriving on Malaysian shores, but customers can only purchase one after its official launch at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show happening in November. Here are the things you need to know about the pick-up truck by Ford Performance:

Equipped with a 2.0-litre EcoBlue Bi-Turbo diesel mill, the Ranger Raptor commands 213 hp and 500 Nm at its disposal, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission calibrated for superior off-road performance and on-road refinement.

Equipped with Fox Racing Shox dampers tuned by Ford Performance and the Terrain Management System (TMS) that offers the pick-up truck six different driving modes – Normal, Sport, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Sand, Rock and Baja, driver’s can confidently tackle high-speed off-road courses.

Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has yet to announce the price tag of the Ford Ranger Raptor, but be prepared to pay a hefty price for one of these high-performance pick-up trucks.
