BMW Malaysia has unveiled the 2025 facelift update for the fully-electric (EV) BMW iX. Two new variants will be available: the BMW iX xDrive45 Sport and the BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro, priced from RM460,700 on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the extended warranty and service package.
- BMW iX xDrive45 Sport – RM460,700
- BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro – RM522,700
The BMW iX xDrive45 Sport is powered by a dual-motor setup that produces 408 hp (300 kW) and 700 Nm of torque, an increase of 82 hp over the previous xDrive40. This enables a 0-100 km/h time of 5.1 seconds.
Equipped with a new 100 kWh battery pack, the xDrive45 Sport now has a WLTP-rated range of between 490 km and 602 km, a substantial increase of up to 177 km. Charging is supported at 22 kW AC and 175 kW for DC fast charging, which enables the SUV to regain 166 km of range with just 10 minutes of charging.

The more powerful iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro features a dual-motor setup that makes 544 hp (400 kW) and 765 Nm of torque—a 21 hp increase over the outgoing xDrive50. This shortens the 0-100 km/h sprint time to 4.6 seconds. Both variants share the same top speed of 200 km/h.
Thanks to a larger 111 kWh battery pack, the xDrive60 has a WLTP-rated range of up to 701 km. Charging is supported with the same 22 kW AC charging, but DC charging is upgraded to a higher 195 kW for the same 31-minute 10-80% charging time, and a 10-minute recharge is able to regain up to 217 km of range.

Both BMW iX variants feature an updated exterior design, featuring redesigned adaptive LED headlamps with a light signature resembling those on the G20 BMW 3 Series. The front bumper on the iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro has also undergone a rework, where the previous large cutouts are replaced for vertical trims housing the front parking sensors.
As to the much-talked-about controversial front grille design, it now gains the “Iconic Glow” surrounds with a new pattern for the front grille panel. The rear design has also undergone a rework similarly to the front, where the rear bumper now features a new design similar to that of the G60 5 Series.

- 21-inch Aerodynamic wheels in style 1012 Multicolour 3D polished buff
- Sport package

Standard interior equipment includes four-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, multifunctional seats for the driver and front passenger, a wireless charging pad, and an 18-speaker, 655W Harman Kardon sound system.
