Mark your calendars for 8 to 10 August 2025, as the Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur (TASKL) will return for its third instalment at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
For this year’s event, ticket prices have been made more affordable. A one-day pass for an adult is now RM48, down from RM60, while a three-day pass is RM120. A one-day pass for children aged 6 to 12 costs RM30, and a one-day family combo pass for two adults and two children is priced at RM120.
Additionally, a 50% discount is also offered to OKU cardholders and their caregivers, while admission is free for children aged five and under.
The star-studded line-up at the TASKL 2025 is headlined by Kazuhiko “Smokey” Nagata of Top Secret, who will be making his third successive visit to the event. He will be joined by Liberty Walk’s founder Wataru Kato, RE Amemiya founder Isami Amemiya, KUHL Racing’s Takahiro Kataoka, and J’S Racing’s president Hisaaki Murakami. Marking his return to the event is also Hiroshi Tamura, also known as the father of the R35-generation Nissan GT-R.
Attendees will be treated to some of the world’s most famous custom cars at booths by Top Secret, Liberty Walk, KUHL Racing, J’S Racing, and Veilside. These include the Top Secret VR32 Stealth Nissan GT-R, the widebody Liberty Walk Ferrari F40, alongside the Super Silhouette ER34. Making its Malaysian debut is the ALESS Century Complete WL, a heavily modified Toyota Century featuring ROZEL’s 4-piece aero kit and air suspension.
This year, TASKL will introduce Malaysia’s Finest Tuners (MFT), a new area dedicated to showcasing the talent within the local tuning scene. The new area features special themed zones like Sakura Street & Midnight Tokyo, stage performances, a Car-Meets-Cosplay competition, and a two-hour simulator endurance race by RaceRoom.
Fans can also look forward to meet-and-greet sessions with racing driver Zen Low and artist Zameer Pentbrush. For die-cast collectors, TASKL 2025 will feature an exclusive release of Toyota Supra MK4 chase and super chase cars, available in limited quantities during the show.
Leading up to TASKL 2025, enthusiasts can also attend the Malaysia GT-R Festival on 2 August 2025 at Gamuda Cove, and the very first FL5 Honda Type R Official Track Day and Mega Gathering at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.
