MINI Malaysia is hosting an exclusive event to celebrate the new MINI family at JioSpace, Petaling Jaya on July 13, 2024 (Saturday). The event will be held from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
Just in case you didn’t know, MINI Malaysia debuted the all-electric 2024 MINI Countryman SE ALL4 and pure-petrol Countryman John Cooper Works, as well as the MINI Cooper S at the 2024 Malaysia Autoshow.
The all-new all-electric MINI Cooper also made its global debut in September last year but has yet to make its debut here in Malaysia. However, an estimated pricing of the car was spotted at the autoshow.
The brand is inviting all MINI enthusiasts, or “MINIacs” as they would prefer to call, to join in the fun. Participants of the event will be able to experience the latest MINI models and give them a test drive.
There will also be a lineup of MINI-themed games with prizes of exclusive customised MINI merchandise to be won. MINI Malaysia is also offering interactive digital experiences in the Brand and Product Zone such as the virtual world of the MINIverse, where MINI fans can navigate the game’s tracks with the virtual MINI car of their choice.

As mentioned above, the all-new MINI Countryman lineup in Malaysia consists of the all-electric Countryman SE ALL4 and the pure-petrol Countryman John Cooper Works. The former is powered by a dual-motor setup that makes 313 hp and 494 Nm. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h.
The all-new MINI Countryman John Cooper Works for Malaysia on the other hand features a 2.0-litre turbocharged petroleum gasoline engine under its hood that makes 300 hp and 400 Nm. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), power is sent to all four wheels via the brand’s ALL4 all-wheel drive (AWD) system. Going from a standstill to 100 km/h takes 5.4 seconds with the Countryman John Cooper Works.
Essentially a heavily facelifted third-generation MINI Cooper hatchback, the new fourth-generation model continues to come with two powertrain options. This includes a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged engine that powers the regular MINI Cooper and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that is under the hood of the more powerful Cooper S.
