297 Ferraris set new record for largest Ferrari gathering in Malaysia ever



Ferrari enthusiasts from all over Malaysia and beyond gathered at the KL Base for the Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia Festival (FOCM) on May 18, 2024. A total of 297 Ferrari cars were assembled at the event, breaking the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest gathering of Ferraris at a single event.

Many interesting Ferrari models can be seen at the event. This includes the Ferrari Dino, Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Ferrari F12 N-Largo, and many more.

Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia President, Mr Abu Rizal Bakri, and Ital Auto Malaysia Executive Director, Mr Zahir Kelvin Ong accepted the accolade from the Malaysia Book of Records. Attendees of the Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia Festival were treated to the Ferrari Classiche Exhibition, which showcased the Italian brand’s iconic models such as the Ferrari 308 GTS, Ferrari 328 GTB, and Ferrari F355 Berlinetta.

The Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia festival came to an end after a captivating performance by the renowned DJ Soda who was flown in from South Korea to entertain the participants.

On May 20, 2024, participants of Ferrari Owners Club Malaysia drove up to the peak of Resorts World Genting in front of Genting Grand Hotel. The Ferrari parade ended with an especially curated dinner at Genting International Showroom for 420 attendees.

The event was replete with dancing, live band performances, and an after-party at Genting Rouge. The car club last undertook a mega convoy up to the famed integrated resort destination with 100 Ferraris back in 2020.

In receiving the recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records, Resorts World Genting Vice President, Winnie Lim said, “We are elated to add a new feather to our cap with this remarkable feat of assembling 297 Pracing Horses 6,000 feet above sea level! It’s a triumph for all our intrepid, luxury-loving owners of the world’s most powerful and recognisable supercar.”
