Video: 2024 Aston Martin Vantage – more than just a “facelift”! Now in Malaysia from RM2.4m

The new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage just made its launch in Malaysia less than a week ago. Essentially a facelifted model of the AM6 Aston Martin Vantage V8 which debuted back in 2018, this new grand tourer can be yours from RM2,370,000 (after taxes, before options and customisation).

On the outside, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage in Malaysia comes with standard kits such as Matrix LED headlights, LED taillights, and flush door handles. It is also fitted with a set of 21-inch AML-specific alloy wheels.

Under the hood of the new Aston Martin Vantage in Malaysia is the familiar 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine, but now makes 665 hp and 800 Nm, giving the grand tourer 30% more power and 15% more torque than before. Aston Martin says this is the largest jump in power outputs in the company’s entire history. To handle the extra power, Aston Martin has enlarged the Vantage’s front grille by 38%, allowing it to suck in 29% more air than its predecessor.

Paired with a reworked ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox, power is sent to the rear wheels. This enables the grand tourer to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 325 km/h.

Moving inside, the new Aston Martin Vantage in Malaysia now sports a new interior, similar to the one found in the brand’s DB12. Standard kits included here include the heated 8-way adjustable Sports Plus seats, sports steering wheel, and 390 W 11-speaker Aston Martin Audio sound system.

In the safety department, the Malaysian-spec 2024 Aston Martin is equipped with a list of active safety features. The grand tourer’s advanced driver assistance systems include features such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go function, Lane Keep Assist (LKA), and Rear Cross-Traffic Assist (RCTA).
