Junior Writer
This Junior Writer position is perfect for you to learn the ins and outs of the automotive media landscape in Malaysia. You’ll get to learn a lot more things about cars too.
You’ll be guided by the team at AutoBuzz.my and you will have the opportunity to acquire new skills. If you’re the perfect fit, here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Produce news articles related to the automotive industry
- Attend car launches, media drives, and other events (and provide coverage)
- Photograph cars during events and during test drives (editing included)
- Produce relevant feature articles (i.e., reviews, buying guides, first impressions, opinion pieces)
And what do we look for in you? Given the nature of the job, you’d at least need to have a valid driving license. Oh, a passion for cars would be a great plus point too. Here are some basic requirements for the role:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, in Mass Communication, Marketing, or similar fields (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Good communication and writing skills
- Basic photography skills
- Attention to detail
- Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and good teamwork
- Responsible and able to meet deadlines
- Passionate about cars
Social Content Creator
If you think your carefully crafted social media reels aren’t appreciated as much as they should be, maybe it is time you show us what you can do. As a Social Content Creator, you will not only be required to make vertical videos, but you’ll also be responsible for handling all of the social media accounts associated with AutoBuzz.my.
Your ability to plan, produce, and schedule creative content will be highly appreciated. Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:
- Update and curate a variety of content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok)
- Produce social media reels (shoot, edit, publish)
- Produce social media posts
- Study trends on social media and adapt accordingly
- Plan & manage social media content schedule
- Attend car launches, media drives, and other events (and produce social media content)
- Photograph cars during events and during test drives
With social media constantly evolving and changing at a fast pace, your skills to adapt quickly will be highly appreciated. There are also a variety of social media platforms, so you’d have to be able to multi-task as well. Here are some basic requirements for this role:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, in Mass Communication, Marketing, or similar fields (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply)
