Off The Grid, a sub-brand created by the team behind the automotive lifestyle event, Art of Speed (AOS), will be holding Off The Grid 2024 from February 23 to 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The event will be taking place at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS), Serdang, inside Hall A, with an area of 150,000 sq ft and 4 acres of outdoor area.
Off The Grid was inspired by the biggest annual outdoor lifestyle event in Japan, ‘Fieldstyle’, and was first conceived in 2022 as a pocket event within AOS. The event was well-received with positive results and has built itself a substantial fanbase.
As Malaysia’s communities of outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts are ever-growing, Off The Grid is looking to serve as the platform for the outdoor lifestyle segment, as well as introduce newcomers who are interested in learning more about this hobby. Now a standalone event, Off The Grid is expected to attract approximately 30,000 visitors this year.
Off The Grid 2024 will feature a wide selection of vendors that appeal to the outdoor lifestyle theme. This includes the following types of vendors:
- Outdoor lifestyle equipment
- RV and campervan importer/fabricator
- Car and motorcycle brands
- Lifestyle bicycle brands: cyclocross, touring bike, MTB, gravel bike, cargo bike
- Reptile farm
- Outdoor apparel
- Fashion and lifestyle
- Exotic plant nursery
- Outdoor sports and recreation operators
- Ready-to-eat meals and camping food products
- Curated F&B

Automotive-related brands like TJM 4×4, Titan Suspension, NoEqual, and Kuzig will also be at this year’s Off The Grid event. The organiser of Off The Grid also mentioned that there will be a Safaro-style 985 Porsche 911 making its debut at the event too.
To go with the outdoor lifestyle theme, there will also be the Brew Fiesta at Off The Grid 2024, which is a slow bar concept with an outdoor/camping theme. What is a “slow bar” you may ask? Well, it is a coffee bar where barista takes their time to make the coffee, using slow-brewing techniques for a hands-on approach which gives time for the barista to have a chat with you for a more personalised service.
There will also be other booths to visit at Off The Grid 2024. This includes the BBQ Showdown, hosted by MeatXpert Premium Butcher, and the Makers Jamboree & Pasor Dinda Ladies Market thrift shop.
What’s an outdoor lifestyle without outdoor activities right? With that, Off The Grid 2024 will also be holding some activities for you and your family to participate in. This includes a skimboarding pool, surf skate, roller disko, and strider cup.
Interested to check out Off The Grid 2024? There will be weekend passes available online via Off The Grid’s website for RM35, which is valid for a three-day entry. A day pass ticket is also available online for RM15.
As for children below 12 years old, or OKU (disabled) Pass Holders, entrance is free. Any online purchase will be charged RM3.00 for the processing fee on each ticket.
For visitors who prefer purchasing by walking in during event dates, the ticket details are as follows:
- Normal walk-in weekend pass tickets – RM50 per person (valid for 3 days)
- Normal walk-in day pass tickets – RM20 per person (valid for 1 day only)
