Puma Car Club’s first SEA event held in Malaysia, special appearance by “Sexyama”

Over the weekend, Puma launched its inaugural Southeast Asia (SEA) Puma Car Club and unveiled its Autumn Winter (AW) 2023 Motorsport collection at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur. The brand’s SEA motorsport ambassador, Choo Sunghoon, a.k.a Sexyama made an appearance at the event too.

With Malaysia being the event’s first stop in the SEA region, Puma describes its Car Club event as a celebration of excellence, inspired by the spirit of the Motorsport community through immersive and interactive experiences and showcases. The event also celebrated the power of endurance, resilience, and excellence in performance and style, inspired by the spirit of the Motorsport.

Puma also collaborated with car clubs from Malaysia and Singapore to hold activities at the event, resulting in various cars being showcased at the event. Besides the cars, many games and performances also took place, which Puma said was to give its guests a taste of what it’s like to be immersed in Puma’s extreme world of Motorsport.

And just in case you aren’t too sure who Sexyama is, he is a world-renowned Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athlete and was a finalist in Netflix’s blockbuster series Physical:100. Also a die-hard motorsport fan, he said, “Motorsport is among the most exciting things in the world to witness, which is why it’s one of my favourite things in the world to be a part of. I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to be a partner of PUMA, and I cannot wait to share more about how much racing, MMA, and life in general have in common. PUMA’s tagline is to be Forever Faster, which is exactly what Motorsport is meant to be!”

Apart from Sexyama, a lineup of industry leaders from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia also made their special appearances at the event. This includes Festival Director of Art of Speed Malaysia Asep Ahmad Iskandar, Malaysian dancer Dennis Yin, and many more.

Set to ignite the car culture narratives both on and off the track, Puma describes its AW 2023 Motorsport collection as the ultimate fusion of track-worthy performance and street-smart style and has collaborated with some of the world’s top motor brands. Besides Malaysia, Puma’s latest Motorsport collection has also been launched across other SEA markets including Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The collection consists of apparel such as T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, track pants, shorts, caps, and shoes. Those interested can purchase those products at selected Puma stores and its official site.
