Sime Darby Motors appoints 14 new BYD dealers across Malaysia



Sime Darby Motors, the sole distributor of BYD vehicles in Malaysia has now appointed 14 new BYD dealers across the nation. Combined with Sime Darby Beyond Auto, this makes a total of 21 BYD dealership outlets in Malaysia.

The appointment of the dealer partners was commemorated during a group dealer signing ceremony at the BYD Headquarters located in Shenzhen, China. Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Sime Darby Motors Retail & Distribution Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau, signed the agreement with each of the dealer owners. The ceremony was witnessed by Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia, and the BYD team.

BYD dealers now include Sisma Auto (KL), Millennium Autobeyond, Lee Motors, Wing Hin Venture, Be Drive Auto Sdn Bhd, Sing Kwung Motors, Hong Thai Motor Trading, Iroll EV, Macinda EV, EV Supreme, Regas EV Auto, Regas EV Sabah, and Denver Auto.

Having made the trip, the new dealer partners also had the opportunity to take of tour of BYD’s headquarters. At the company’s headquarters, the dealer partners were shown its R&D capabilities and its dynamic range of cutting-edge innovative products.
