Next-gen Aston Martin DB grand tourer to debut on May 24 – “Grand is not enough”



“This is no mere GT. Grand is not enough”. This is the teaser slogan Aston Martin is advertising to tease its new upcoming next-generation model of the iconic DB series. Confirmed to be debuted on May 24, 2023, the birth of this new grand tourer will also be marking the brand’s 75th anniversary of its DB series.

Aston Martin claimed the upcoming DB model to be a sports car that breaks free from the norms of the GT sector. The sports carmaker also mentioned this next-generation DB grand tourer and its future models to be characterised by prodigious performance and pinpoint driving dynamics.

Two core values have been set by the British luxury sports carmaker for its upcoming models. These values include high performance and ultra-luxury, which has always been what Aston Martin is all about over the years. Aside from performance, the future generation models are also said to feature advanced technologies that come with seamless integration, sublime style, as well as impeccable craftsmanship.

Unfortunately, no further details have been shared by Aston Martin regarding this upcoming DB grand tourer. Whether it will be powered by the carmaker’s V12 engines or electric motors, we will have to wait and see.

Closer to home, Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has just launched its track-focused Vantage F1 Edition sports car in March this year. With the next generation DB sports car coming this month, we can’t wait to see what the British carmaker has for us.
