The Toyota GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition marks 100 units of the GR Supra GT4

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has just announced that the Toyota GR Supra GT4 hit the 100-unit production mark. The Toyota motorsport division managed to attain this achievement in under three years’ time, after selling the sportscar in markets such as Europe, North America, Asia as well as Japan itself. To commemorate this achievement, TGR has unveiled two limited-edition Toyota GR Supras. These Supras are namely the Toyota GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition and the GT4 100 Edition.

So what’s special about these cars? Let’s first start with the Plasma Orange 100 Edition, shall we? Special cosmetic upgrades TGR has given to this GR Supra on the outside include, as the name suggests, a Plasma Orange colour paint. Its wheel has also been painted matte black, and its brake callipers painted black as well. The front brake callipers are embedded with GR logos too!

Moving inside the Plasma Orange Toyota GR Supra, special equipment you can find include Alcantara genuine leather seats, and also ‘Plasma Orange 100 Edition’ badges. This limited edition sports car is open for reservation in Japan from May 8 to June 4, 2023, and is limited to 100 units only, as the name suggests. Looking at the pictures provided, the Toyota GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition is based on the automatic version of the Supra.

TGR has participated in 625 entries in 317 races worldwide as of the end of 2022. Through these races, the racing division has recorded 79 class victories, 20 overall wins, and 207 podium finishes in GT4 championships. These records have been achieved in various championships, including the Super Taikyu Series in Japan.

Throughout the years, TGR has garnered advice from customers along the way. This has led to improvements in both the GR Supra GT4 as well as its components.

Another limited edition Supra offered by TGR is the GR Supra GT4 100 Edition. This limited edition GR is also made for customer racing as well, just like the regular GR Supra GT4.

To celebrate the 100-unit production mark of the GR Supra GT4, TGR has given it a special shade of red paint, unique body kits, a special bonnet as well as a serial number badge, to show this ain’t your ordinary Toyota GR Supra! To make the GT4 100 Edition Supra even more special, there are only three units available.
