BMW Malaysia has unveiled a new variant for the locally-assembled X7 xDrive40i, equipped with the additional M Sport package for a sportier appearance. The new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is priced at RM 728,800 (on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the five-year warranty and service package), making it RM20,000 more than the existing Pure Excellence offering.
The new M Sport variant differentiates itself with the addition of the M Aerodynamics package as standard, which includes the more aggressive bumpers and side skirts, alongside a set of 22-inch Style 758 M Alloy wheels, M Sport brake, as well as aluminium exterior trims.
Inside, the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport also adds the variant-specific M Sport leather steering wheel, while the new fineline black wooden trims on the dashboard replaces the high-gloss style on the Pure Excellence.

Aside from these, the rest of the variant’s standard equipment remains unchanged, including the BMW Laserlight system, panoramic glass roof, soft-close doors, “CraftedClarity” glass trims on the interior, Harman Kardon 16-speaker surround sound system, as well as the BMW Live Cockpit Professional screens running BMW’s iDrive 8.0 operating system.
It’ll also still come with the full suite of BMW’s advanced driver assistance features, no subscription required. These include the Driving Assistant adaptive cruise control system, alongside the Parking Assistant Plus system that also features a 360-degree surround-view monitor.
Power continues to come from a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine underneath the bonnet, providing up to 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The TwinScroll turbo mill is paired to an eight-speed Steptronic Sports automatic transmission to send drive to all four wheels, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds.
The BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is available in four exterior colours, including Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Manhattan Metallic, and Arctic Grey Brilliant Effect, the latter exclusive to the new variant. Inside, customers can choose between cognac, coffee, or black for the Vernasca leather upholstery.

With BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia’s Easy Drive Financing Plan, the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM8,800 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).
