BMW Malaysia has unveiled the 2022 BMW M850i xDrive Coupé MY edition for the Malaysian market. Essentially being the G15 facelift that made its world debut earlier this year, the Malaysian edition of the M850i xDrive Coupé fetches a price of RM 1,102,800.
Still powered by the same N63 4.4-litre bi-turbo V8 engine, the BMW M850i xDrive Coupé produces a maximum power output of 530 hp @ 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 750 Nm @ 1,800-4,600 rpm. With the V8 paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and with power sent to all wheels, the M850i xDrive Coupé completes the century sprint in 3.9 seconds.
At the front, the revised BMW M850i xDrive Coupé features the “Iconic Glow” LED lighting on the kidney grille. The LED lighting provides a waterfall-like illumination that cascades down the grille slats. One could say that the 8 Series’ facelift is a literal glow up.
Also seen on the exterior are M exterior mirrors and signature M emblem on the kidney grille, which is courtesy of the inclusive M Performance Package. Perched on the boot lid is an M rear spoiler. Accentuating the coupé’s looks are the M high-gloss Shadowline and M Lights Shadowline.

The BMW M850i xDrive Coupé MY Edition sits on a set of 20-inch double-spoke Style M light alloy wheels. Behind the alloy wheels are a set of M Sport brakes finished in high-gloss black.
In the cabin, the M850i xDrive Coupé MY Edition features a 12.3-inch touchscreen head unit and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Both driver and front passenger get M Sport seats (with active ventilation), and the interior is upholstered in BMW Individual’s Merino Leather. Upholstery colour options include Black, Cognac, Ivory White, Night Blue, Tartufo, and Fiona Red.

Setting the ambience in the cabin is a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System. An added convenience in the M850i xDrive Coupé is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Smartphone integration.
Advanced safety features of the BMW M850i xDrive Coupé MY edition includes Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Change Warning (LCW), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Rear Cross Traffic Warning (RCTW), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), and Emergency Stop Assistant. Also equipped on the M850i xDrive Coupé MY Edition is BMW’s Parking Assistant Plus.
Included in the RM1,102,800 price of the BMW M850i xDrive Coupé MY Edition is a five-year/unlimited mileage warranty with a free scheduled service programme. With the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW M850i xDrive MY Edition can be owned with a monthly installment plan starting from RM 12,797.
