After taking home five ‘Pick-up Truck of the Year’ awards in the past year, Isuzu Malaysia has launched the new and improved D-Max X-Terrain with more features and creature comforts.
Added to the D-Max’s already impressive list of features is a wireless charger, an Around-View Monitor aided by cameras on the front grille and side mirror. The feature will not only offer a bird’s eye view when in reverse but also a selectable ‘3D guide’ for more precise parking.
Better visibility will also comes from the addition of LED puddle lamps tucked underneath the side step, along with illuminated door sills bearing the words ‘X-Terrain’.
Otherwise, standard equipment on the exterior remains the same. The D-Max X-Terrain gets automatic Bi-LED headlamps with ‘Follow Me Home’ lights that work in tandem with the LED puddle lamps, front and rear LED fog lamps, a sliding cargo tray, dampers for the tailgate and 18-inch wheels.
Along with the new features, the D-Max is now also available in Silky Pearl White and Onyx Black, supplemented by the existing Valencia Orange colour.
The D-Max X-Terrain also comes with a host of driver aids such as automatic high beam, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear-cross traffic alert, and lane-keeping assist to mention a few.
Under the hood, the D-Max X-Terrain continues to be powered by a 3.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, with 190 hp and 450 Nm.
The updated Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain with its fancy new gear is now priced from RM146,938, a marginal increase from its previous launch price of RM141,938 back in April 2021.
